Why Am I Creating A Review Blog?

I've had my blog for a year and a half now. In that time, I've been asked frequently -- and more and more frequently of late -- to review various products. While I'd love to do that for a variety of reasons, not the least of which is that I love being the first to know about and try things, my blog is ... my blog.

It's my life, my story, my version. And I want it to stay that way.

I have a feeling that many people reading Honest & Truly! feel the same way, so I decided to create a separate blog that is related to the first one to contain the more commercial portion. And really, Honest & Truly Reviews does sorta fit, right?

To set matters straight, I'm happy to do product reviews. I'm happy to see what's out there, and I love experimenting. I just got back from BlogHer '09, and -- other than seeing the wee ones -- I'm most excited to be home so that I can try out all the fun and unique products that I received while there.

As my name implies, the point is to express my point of view "honest and truly" regardless of what that point of view is. And I hope you enjoy the journey with me!
